I live in Washington, NC with my beautiful wife Susan and our children Aaron, Samantha and Alex.
I have been playing the Great Highland Bagpipes since 1999. Playing the bagpipe is a true passion of mine and a God given gift that I have been able to do so. I have played at many funerals and ceremonies in Eastern North Carolina. I have also performed for the Clan Campbell Society of North America for two of their AGM's. One in Stone Mountain, Georgia and the other in Greensboro, North Carolina. I perform every year for the Beaufort County Relay for Life, in Washington.
I have had the privilege the past few years to play with Pipe Major Daniel Chisholm, who lives in Chocowinity, NC. He is a great piper and friend. Together we have performed at Music in the Streets and other performances as the Pamlico Pipes and Drums. Our good friend and only Drummer Chris Ruff has relocated to Delaware, so that kind of leaves us as just Pamlico Pipes. It's always great fun to perform with these guys. We have a great time bringing the sounds of the bagpipes to any who wish to listen.
I am currently starting out on a new venture in my Piping career, playing with the Greenville Public Safety Pipes and Drums, led by Pipe Major Steve Hawley. These are a great bunch of guys, and I look forward to playing the bagpipes with them, and being a part of their organization.
